April 5, 2011 Board Meeting Agenda Item #32 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #11-0020 FOR CABINETRY HARDWARE AND MATERIALS Description Bids to provide 'Cabinetry Hardware and Materials' were received from seven vendors on January 26, 2011. The bids of Dixie Plywood, Wilsonart, and Wurth Wood Group were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications. Reasons for not selecting the apparent low bids are included with the bid tabulation. This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bids of Dixie Plywood, Wilsonart, and Wurth Wood Group, to provide 'Cabinetry Hardware and Materials' in an amount not to exceed $75,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
